Florence and the Machine

Went to see the fabulous Florence at the crappy Corn Exchange this evening. Haven't heard such appalling sound a gig since The Happy Mondays (also at the Cotn Exchange). Still the band put on a marvellous show, the crowd was much more animated than iIexpected and the merchandise stall was a treat! this is the ribbon around the box that the teacup came (we also bought a 4-disc version of Lungs, a mirror and a notebook).

After the gig we went to taste of Italy again, unfortunately too late for pizza so we ghad to make do with a choice of 3 paninis, which whilst nice was extremely disappointing.

New phone is getting some heavy usage, especially as it came with a bluetooth adaptor for the headphones so you don't have any trailing wires. It helped make a very annoying day at work more bearable. I'm doing some co-branding and the account manager is adamant that the HTML templates have to be created from scratch based on a couple of JPEGs despite the change request document making numerous references to the supplied templates and brand guidelines. A 6 hour task is going to take about 3 days and be extremely tedious.
