It's almost the weekend...

so another adventurous weekend away!

The accomodation is somewhat more luxurious than last weekend as we're staying in a Landmark Trust property with sme friends.

Planning a mountain bike ride on saturday and a walk on the sunday. Between country pubs. :-)

I love looking at maps. I'm a map Geek. I'll sit and read a map like it's a book, looking for good walking or biking routes, or places to explore by canoe. I like to try and visualise the shape of the land and the possible views from the contour lines and shading.

I also often ponder if that remote bridleway running across the moorland actually really exists and is passable.

This has lead me into trouble before....(not least with some of my biking friends).
