Unexpected Sunset

I was starting to smudge my house to cleanse it and bless it, and glimpsed the sunset out the window. I practically dropped my smudge stick and ran to grab my camera. I wish I had seen it sooner, but it was still glorious. I don't remember ever seeing such an overcast sky have color.

It was a difficult day, so this was a beautiful sight that gave me a lift. I'm looking forward to Mother's day when I get to spend time with my children and grandchildren. I'm sure there will be lots of photo opps.

Today, someone said, it must be hard starting over at age 55. Yes, it's hard, but I believe it's never too late to change your life and find happiness.

Right now, I don't have a clue what my future holds, but I'm no longer afraid.
