Taipei Koi

Today we visited the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Both The Goose and I have never been huge museum enthusiasts, but it was still very interesting to see some of the ancient artifacts that were taken from mainland to Taiwan during the conflict many years ago that is still an issue today.

The Museum was full of tourists, so it was crowded and loud. We definitely enjoyed our time exploring the museum, but had an even nicer time exploring the grounds outside--a very nice garden with a bunch of Koi in the ponds.

During the evening, we found a different night market to explore, where again we devoured many delicious foods and sat down to listen to a local band play live music while we drank some good Belgian beers.

We love TAIPEI!
