Farewell old friend

Today marks the last game at the home of my beloved football team, Chesterfield.

It has been our home since the 1870s and is one of the oldest grounds in the country.

It is old, it is threadbare and has been need of replacing for many years, but the ground is like your favourite pair of slippers. They may need replacing, but you know that the new ones will need feel as good.

Farewell and thanks for all the wonderful memories. You will be missed.
