Kidnapped

It's my birthday today. I was woken at 6.30am instead of 9am, and after a cursory breakfast we headed out to the car to drive to Wales. 'What on earth is the rush?' I ask We're heading to a friend's house in Anglesey to have a beach picnic and an evening of open fires and bubbly. I've even baked a cake. I put the early wake-up call down to an unusual keenness on mat's part to head off on a beach picnic. He doesn't actually like picnics. We passed the turning for Wales about two and a half hours ago and are now orbiting London on the M25. It's half eleven and I still haven't the foggiest idea where we're going! Mat's been smirking about something all morning!...Looking forward to finding out what's going on, but it's kind of fun being kept in the dark!
