In the Blink of an Eye

Summer seems to have descended upon us overnight. The air was decidedly humid this morning, and I heard crickets and frogs all day. Second time at the beach in three days. Unheard of this time of year. The mercury reached 89F/31.6C. Hard to believe there was indeed ice here only 8 weeks ago.
