Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus

I had to get one thing right before I went to my preview on Friday night. This is a dreadful photograph but says it all.

My title, Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus refers to a film by the acclaimed alternative country artist Jim White. A documentary that takes you on an entrancing journey into the heart of the culture of the southern USA, a culture too poor and marginalised to register as important yet extraordinarily rich in creative spirit. There is one bit in a male/female segregated hair salon that reminded me of this moment.
