Guard Dog

I 'rescued' this cuddly dog (Sharpie's his name) from my parents' house earlier today. He was destined for the charity shop otherwise, and I couldn't let that happen! I plonked him on the bed when we got in, and our cat (completely ignoring him) just took up her usual spot on the duvet.

I have loads of photos of 'cat on bed' which are all much of a muchness, but I liked the juxtaposition of cat and dog in this one - so much so, it inspired me to follow my husband's example and set up a blipfoto page!

This photo would have been even better if I'd managed to get a picutre of our cat and a REAL dog lying on the bed in peaceful harmony, but that's not gonna happen!!!
