Ebony

One of my nephews came to visit today, with his wife and little one (and number 2, yet to be born). My great-neice is very sweet but may well have moved a few things from my house to hers or hidden them here!

This bit of wood is part of an African carving. I'll blip the other side another day but it compliments things I've been thinking about today i.e. the ongoing political deliberations and machinations. How things seem on the outside are not always an indication of what's going on on the inside. It's all very interesting. . .
