Fungi
It was the maiden voyage for the mother-daughter biking team... just a quickie down to the McDonalds for lunch/dinner. It was quite pleasant, and although still a tad too cold for my liking, it was still comfortable enough for riding. We found a little market along the way back, and my darling daughter made me turn my back while she made certain little purchases saying 'I am buying your Mother's Day present, don't look. Can I put them in your purse please, don't look." So sweet. Clouds threatened us with more rain on the way home but held off and we completed the maiden voyage dry and happy.
Of course, the camera hadn't made the trip, so I am forced to paint the above picture with words and blip these cute little fungi growing in a crowd out our front door. There is an old stump of what was a very large tree and with all the recent rain the mushrooms are in their element!
I thought these two looked like those little houses you'd see in kids cartoons where even littler creatures would live.
