tracks of life

back in pak chong

been a while since i was here, but just like that old pair of comfortable shoes, it's been nice to revisit. this time, i went to the other side to get the opposing view.

it doesn't seem as though much has changed in this area of korat, but i'm hearing that there's a new palio italian shopping area at nearby khao yai (big mountain), and supposedly more foreigners are venturing this way. can't blame them, with the camping, and the hills, and the fresh air/cool nights just a short drive from bangkok (at least compared to chaing mai), it's worth it. maybe next time i'll actually have time in my schedule to spedn some time - been really wanting to go camping here, but never seem to have the time.

should be a busy few days here. lots to do. well, time for a beer and a bite.
