Mother's Day

Today, Sunday is Mothers Day, and as I cannot be with my mother, I decided that I would make her a cup of tea. (I normally have my tea in a mug.)
My mother had a nice collection of cups and saucers, and I chose one of them from her home. I liked many of the ones she had, but decided that I had no where to put them, so just chose this blue and white one. I think that she would have liked her tea served on the white embroidered cloth on a special occassion. Unfortunately no baking has been done in this house hold, so some plain biscuits to suffice.
My sister and her husband flew to England this morning, so I was up at 6.30 am, and went out to their farm to pick them up and bring them back to the Airport. She gave me a bunch of flowers, so I was able to put a flower wirth the cup of tea!
I have been able to speak to my mother on the phone today, and she was happy to hear from me, and said that she had several of the family in to visit her, so that was nice.
