Playing chess

and reading the small print.

When, yonks ago, I was learning to play chess, our old Chemi master used to say "Watch the whole of the board, the whole of the time.".

She who must be obeyed suffers from a bad back, courtesy of hauling patients (Sorry "clients") around.
An "old body" by any other name is just as heavy.

We were down country wandering around "MAKRO" when we spotted a heat/massager thingy, which seemed like a good idea.
Turns out it was, does a marvellous job.

I saw the little label which instructed me to remove both securing screws before use to avoid damage.

I wasn't watching the whole of the board ... I scoured the house and the shed

Aaaargh!

and finally found no less than 3 sets of alan (Sp?) keys.

Tried a few from the appropriate sizes of both sets, removed screw #1, moved my attention to #2 and "Viola" there it was, in a wee packet, attached to the screw I went to remove second.

The old lad was right "Watch the WHOLE of the board".
