The Bridge

After the momentous week of the election at the nursery, we had to exercise our civic right to Toasted Marshmallows.

We found a great wee spot on the beach overlooking a cruise liner that was offloading hoards of tourists onto coaches at the Hawes Pier. Then we gathered the requisite materials for the kids' first campfire. And out came the marshmallows to toast over the flames.

On the way back we saw this group being taught how to deploy an anchor.
