Local Asparagus...mmmmmmm

I can thank my son (itchy feet) that I have a taste for asparagus.

The son cooked a meal when I'd just come out of hospital and was dismayed to see it included asparagus (having only tasted the soggy version) and I was not a fan.
Well it was delicious so have included it in tonight's supper.

Found ideas from him and the internet which I combined. This method was delicious:
Marinate it in a dressing of EV olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Sprinkle with freshly ground salt and black pepper and put it on a hot griddle for 2 minutes each side. Yum yum!
