When Clay seems lighter than Air....

This is my great friend Dave Cohen who I have known since 1968 and here it looks like the clay is floating up into his hand and, although it is not, if any one in this world can make clay do such a thing this is the man. Dave is 77 and only makes things sixteen hours a day now. Watching Dave work is, I reckon, one of the great pleasures in this life. Another is drinking red wine. And another is doing nothing. All these joys, for me, go very well together. Maybe I was created to balance Dave's creativity....
