went out with a friend to chulachomklao fort today (samutprakarn) to enjoy a walk around, see htms maeklong, and overall, just enjoy the holiday.

afterwards, went out to a nice local restaurant along chao phraya river, source of this photo. day quickly turned into night, so we were off to meet up with more of her friends at a nearby pub. had a great time with everyone there - good drinks and conversation.

was funny, a few of the guys kept on about their bikes, one especially proud of his newly built fixed-gear - of which one of his friends teased him that he's spent so much on this thing only to ride it down the road to get the random coffee here and there. ah, memories of home.

night turned quickly to late night, as we all closed the pub and then over to one of the bike boys' house for a nightcap. drunken revelry ensued, and finally my friend and i got out of there at about 4:30 that morning - good day, but i think i'm going to hate 100 pipers tomorrow morning/afternoon.
