Flower baby

A close up of one of many embroidered patches on my blankie. My mum made it for me when I was little and was a labour of love. Every other patch is embroidered with flowers, illustrations from childrens books or fairytale characters. And each one is dated with the day completed. This one is from September 13 1982 when I was just 3 years old. It is now very worn, the wadding all but gone and the seams on the back very patchy in places. But I still love it.
