In January Allison and I made reservations at the Brown Palace for afternoon tea on Mother's day, so Allison, her sister Sarah and I surprised our moms and took them for tea today. This is the ceiling that was above us. There was a jazz trio playing and a little girl at the table near us was dancing. The food was amazing and we finally got to eat pink macaroons, which were awesome. My only complaint is that they wouldn't prepare matcha with milk... who drinks matcha tea without milk?
