My good friend A

We had our ataxia meeting on Saturday afternoon and it was good to see A there as she's our founder member. It's almost a year since her big birthday last June and I have the same milestone looming next month :-(

She was diagnosed in her early 20s with Friedreich's Ataxia and told she had 10 years to live - she has survived long past that and enjoys life - setting up our local Branch of Ataxia UK, fundraising, travelling and inspiring others.
