A crafty Monday

Today was the sort of chilled day Mondays should be. A potter about the shops, a goss with my neighbour - 71, housebound after many strokes but still lively with a wicked sense if humour - and some crafting.

The flowers will become brooches while the green band will be a wrist cuff. I can often be found knitting on the bus with these kids needles. If you look closely at them you'll notice they smiley face on the ends.

As much as I'm not enjoying the decrease in my wages (funding cuts = 4 day weeks) I definitely think my quality of life has improved.
