Goldfinch

Hard day today - long drives, long day at work, and I came home, stared out the window and contemplated how little I wanted to do my run. But this goldfinch arrived, my camera was to hand, and at least one part of the day (the hunt for the photo) fell nicely into place as I just got on with it.

So maybe that inspired me - I almost didn't run today, but it made me realise I may as well just get on with it. Plus, it made me feel I deserved the takeaway I?ve now just demolished. Still a long day, but it got better.
