Fly-nip?

It's not just for cats anymore ...

Last year we bought a tiny catnip and a tiny catmint plant, much to the enjoyment of our cats. It grew nicely and I dried bunches of it that we keep in a less traveled cabinet in the kitchen in a suspicious looking bag. Once in a while we'll get it out and spread some across scratching posts, cat beds and whatever we can find and have a laugh at the kitties' expense. Bad parents, I know.

When it started coming up this year, we had to protect it for a bit because the ladies wanted to, as the Beloved calls it, 'make sweet love to it'.
The catnip, in return, wasn't too thrilled.
Over the last month it has grown into a massive plant that no longer needs protection, so we just let them do whatever they want to it :)
