Coddled eggs and toast.

Perfect for a Sunday tea in front of the tv.

As a child eating in front of the tv was a rarity. Food was for the kitchen or dining room. Not the lounge. Sure, my sisters and I snuck the odd sarnie and crisps into the lounge, but we certainly weren't supposed to. Sunday was a break in the rules. The fire lit, Ski Sunday on and 'proper' Sunday tea in front of the box - Potato cakes and cheese.

I do make Potato cakes from time to time, but our sunday tea is coddled eggs. Yum
