Managed a break from spreadsheets and budgets today for another little afternoon wander around the school to look at what new flowers had bloomed. I've no idea what this tree is (anyone?) but the colour and number of flowers was stunning. To the person who isn't sure what the point of photographing flowers is: they're beautiful, and after 6 months of winter with its grey skies and subzero temperatures, I need the photos to remember what they look like...

No more work for the rest of the week :) Boat to the Summer Palace tomorrow. Bed now.
