From nest to cooker in seconds!
I was introduced to Quail's eggs at the weekend by my very good friends who seem to have a new form of wildlife every time I go and visit. They keep Quails, and are very used to the luxury of having the eggs fresh every day. These were very tasty with my bacon and red pepper rissotto :-)
