MS Sandnes

A beautiful sunny evening in Stavanger ... had a stroll down by the harbour and among the many candidates for a blip, the MS Sandnes was my pick. This vessel used to do the overnight route between Stavanger and Bergen, before the advent of the hydrofoils ... it is now restored and I think it does cruises in the fjords around Stavanger. I like the colour scheme and, in this shot, the contrast of the vessel's sleek lines with the chunky Toldbod building behind.
