Canals of Venice - Happy Days

Just finished this painting a couple of days ago. Signed it this morning and photographed it to put on my painting website. I finished most of the paintings in this series over a year ago. But somehow new ones just keep cropping up. This one is an experiment. I used a distorted drawing as the subject and painted the image on top of an old painting that I didn't like. I left parts of the old painting visible. I like the abstract effect. I plan to more of these.
