The Common Bluebell

Well, I have done it! I have blipped my first flower using my new lens.

I have greatly benefitted from the comments received via this thread on the Forums. With special thanks to ~ gilliebg for suggesting the whole thing could be treated as an exercise:

"in capturing shades of colour, light, shadow, shape, texture, form, focus, exposure etc."

I found that looking through the lens at a bluebell was exciting. I had to repeat the whole exercise once to try and get better depth of field.

So, here it is - criticism is welcomed. I was a bit worried by the leaf in the background and whether it was a distraction.
