Blue Skies, Northumberland

I've always known that the beaches up here were amazing - people have been telling me so for years - but up until today I hadn't had the chance to see for myself. Taking advantage of fine spring weather, early blossoms, blackbirds and even some warm sunshine, we meandered our way with our Alnwick couchsurfing hosts along the coast to the Ship Inn.
