I had a fantastic day today. I was invited to attend a Tea Party reading at a grade school for my friend Maya. Maya is in the second grade and is an excellent student. She has an amazing imagination that is endless.

When I arrived at Maya's school I was taken back twenty five years to my second grade experience. I could not believe how much her classroom resembled mine from my childhood. I remember having the freedom and creativity of an eight year old. Ah, those were the days :)

This is a picture of Maya after her reading. The light in the classroom was very subtle and beautiful. A great place to make a portrait.
