Shaved Ice

Signs of Summer. We've had a long wet winter and spring in Northern California and certainly everyone is ready to get out into the sun. Californians seem to be addicted to sunshine. We thrive on it and lavish in it. So, when the sun comes out and the temps go up, things like shaved ice are just what the doctor ordered.

I'm not a fan myself, but these two ladies had wide grins on their faces and told me how great it was to find shaved ice today.
