Queen's Square

Another walkabout picture, in the same location as last Sunday's. I'm a little bit ambivalent about taking pictures of people without their knowledge. On the one hand, you're compromising their privacy - even in a public place, even if they'll never know - and on the other, some of the best pictures come out of situations like that (not this one, necessarily, of course) and where would photojournalism be if we couldn't do that (not that I class myself as a photojournalist).

I've had a couple of threatening glances in the past, and requests to delete pictures. But still, if I feel the moment is right, I'll press the shutter.
