S.W.R.I.at Fyrish

To celebrate the Scottish Womens Rural Institutes 90th birthday the flag is being passed around the country. Today Ross-shire Federation walked to Fyrish Monument ( an hours walk to the top of a high hill) at Evanton. 50 women of varying ages made it to the top and raised the flag. I was one of a few men who went along for the walk. One of them was a GP whose services were not called upon.
