Lace and mortar

The beautiful handmade lace curtains in the windows of this crumbling farmhouse have caught my attention for some time now but I haven't had the chance to photograph them until today. The angle's not great, because I had to shoot quickly from the car, and there were a few cars backed up behind me wondering what on earth I was up to.

Today's a public holiday here and we went to 2 brocantes (flea markets) nearby. Bought some wonderful stuff which I'll blip in the coming days. My camera battery ran out of juice so I don't have any brocante pictures at all.
