My Last Year of College

Tight Squeeze

Rode my bike to campus today to see how long it would take. Took an hour and it was hard riding through urban landscapes on my heavy mountain bike. I cheated and rode the light rail part of the way home.

The bike path took me through several urban green belts, following the Platte River north through my neighborhood to I-25. Shopping cart sailing seemed to be a popular sport in some of these areas. Too bad shopping carts don't float. Graffitti decorated concrete walls along others. Children played in the creek.

There were a couple of tunnels to ride through. This one was really just a storm drain, a little taller than my 5'3''. Others went under highways and were dark and scary.
