Tough Love

The Displaced Duck Odissey - episode III

Arriving at the living room, Duck heard a deep purring sound.

"Turtle, are you there?", he asked.

"Yeah, yeah! It's me, ya dumb waste of feathers, come closer."

Following his friend's voice, he found him, embraced by a big, black cat.

"She won't let go of me!", he said, as if apologizing. "This dame grabbed me when I was getting into the bath-tub and now she thinks we got a thing goin' on..."

"You know where the bathroom is?! Oh! I'm so happy I could cry." Duck jumped up and down with joy.

"I should be the one crying, ya brainless bird! If I don't get rid of the cat, we won't see our bath-tub ever again..."

The love-struck feline looked down at the small turtle and started licking it's shell.

"Nooooo! Not again! Duck, save me, please, save me!"
