A Gentle Touch

My 13-month-old granddaughter somehow seemed to intuitively know to be gentle with Moosie, their 12-year-old cat who's dying of kidney failure; and Moosie seemed to sense that because she usually stays far out of reach. It's as if she wants all the loving comfort she can get as the shadow of her future looms ahead.
