Mendicant and Monkey.

Usually in my country beggars beg in the name of God or they pray profusely in exchange of money, eatables as if they have good connection with the God.

But this 'man' is not doing so, his 'trick of the trade' is to make monkey dance (to the beat of small drum in his hand which I think act as catalyst) as per his instructions and entertain the curious on lookers especially children.

So the mendicant is employing monkey as a tool for making both ends meet. The animal has been trained and tamed for the purpose, he told me. I was also amused to see the acting and dramatic skills of the animal.
