Broken Biscuits

Thought i'd get my blip done nice and early today as I almost forgot yesterday's!

Bit of a random shot today - opened the door to pick up the milk left by the milkman and discovered a box of broken biscuits that I forgot i'd added to the order as a weekend treat for the family. I remember we used to have these when I was a little girl so couldn't wait to open the box to see if they were still the same.

The aroma that wafted out of the box took me straight back - still the same old reassuring mix of custard creams, chocolate digestives, choc chip cookies and bourbons that I remember from my childhood - all tasting extra yummy for being a bit jagged around the edges and oddly shaped (well I had to sample one or two to check). My daughter was just as fascinated by these as me and I really hope they'll still be around when she is older to remind her of the day she had her first broken biscuit from the magic box!!
