Water wheel

The restored Stornoway Water Wheel in the Castle Grounds, wreathed in a sheen of tender green. Spring is very late in coming to these islands, but it is definitely here now. The Water Wheel was restored five years ago, and it generates electricity for the lamps along the Willowglen River and the Inner Harbour as far as Cuddy Point.
