Bumblebee at work
I studied this little guy as he went about his business amongst the flowers in this tree, and realized the bumblebees are the ones that hasten the inevitable process of the flowers losing their petals. As I stood there, beneath him as he worked, light pink petals rained down on me from every flower he visited. I do prefer that type of rain to the other kind though :) All in all, a wonderful afternoon with delish bread straight from the oven (I made hazelnut and fig bread today for the first time), a short visit to friends to drop of a loaf that was still warm, and then a walk in the sun with my camera and macro lens. More of these days please!
