Fresh, Crisp, Green

Lettuce leaves have to be the easiest of plants to grow. We're lucky to have a good sized garden and grow a variety of vegetables, but lettuce is just as happy in a pot or planter. The first of the freshest, crispest of lettuce leaves are ready. We served them with warm potato salad and chicken for tonight's supper. Can't be beaten.
