Good day walking with Lynne and Pegs near Aysgarth waterfalls and up to Castle Bolton. Once we were away from the falls, we hardly saw another soul on the footpaths.

Good pub meal at the 'Shoulder of Mutton' in Kirby Hill before retiring to the Old Grammar School, where were are staying for the weekend with our friends James and Lynne. Is very nice. but quite old and a wee bit spooky. Lynne is convinced she heard the old grandfather clock chime in the middle of the night - it doesn't work though!
