bragging rights

I just wanted to brag. These are all prototypes from a project I am running that we hastily photographed this afternoon in order reach a magazine deadline. They are from second year students and they are designing and arranging manufacture of these items over a 12 week period. They will go into the Port Chalmers Design Store to face a key product design test - will the public actually like them?

As far as I can tell this is a pretty unique project. It's hard to get any sort of reality into design school projects - mostly because the objects never go to manufacture. This is the second year I'm running this, along with the help of Sarah and Becs from the PCDS. From last years groups, one team is still supplying the store and their work is being sold as far afield as London - while they are still studying.

Pretty proud of that.
