cunning disguise

I thought it was a snail but it weren't. This tree trunk has been lying down by the river for ages and shows evidence of being battered by the ebb and flow of the things that go past it. This is a nail that probably held up a fence once upon a time, when the tree was still in situ, these days it's a handy stone holder pretending to be a snail. Taking photos every day has made me look and look and look, without the need to Blip, I'd still be thinking that I saw a snail down by the river.
