Send for Mr Bump!

It would take too long to describe the process by which Ellen climbed into a cardboard box "car" that was parked on the back of the sofa and slid off, banging her head on the floor. I think that probably reads more dramatically that it actually was but she still ended up wailing. Mr Bump lives in the fridge for such emergencies. But taking photos while cajoling her into putting Mr Bump back on her head was a better distraction and cheered her up again.

Another day of gardening but only after network cable had been run from the server to the broadband box, connector things had been connected and the power supply for the router had been found. There's also cables for my laptop and the Apple TV. Yes, we are wired. It's amazing how much faster the internet is once you come off wireless and onto ethernet. The only thing I haven't done is get Mandy's laptop wired. Trouble is, Mac stuff, when you connect an ethernet cable, just configures itself. PCs don't seem to be so accommodating.
