Bridge over River Arum at Amberley

Beautiful day, took the boys for a walk, did not mention to them it was going to be six miles long.
The initial enthusiasm, first 15 minutes are manic with both of them bouncing all over the place, subsided and Billy flagged a bit. He only has stumpy legs.
The walk was across the water meadows, along the river bank then up to the top of the Downs, crossed the South Downs Way and back to Amberley
Found a really nice pub in the village, The Black Something (Horse Dog not sure). They hold an occasional folk club according to the adverts and certainly have good food.
Back home, both dogs asleep, feet ache a bit. Quiet night
