Fern

Went for a walk in Swithland Woods this afternoon with some lovely friends. Took LOADS of photos and have had a hard job deciding which of the many I should use, No doubt the other contenders will end up on Flickr or something soon.

I chose this one of the newly unfurling fronds on the top of a fern, however, as it gives a clue as to where my thoughts were for most of the day ... with the love of my life - who I would love to have shared today with.

I'll be content in the knowledge that we'll spend the whole of next weekend together though ... and the rest of our lives after that!
